5. Sunday 15th Jan – Shepshed, Grace Dieu
6. Sunday 19th Feb – Hinkley
(There is usually a children’s race before the main event).
About the XC League
ANYBODY can enter, whatever your ability. You run individually, but all the times (8 for men, 4 for the ladies) are added up to give the cumulative score, so there is lots of cheering and encouragement as fellow hoops come in to finish. If we have more than the minimum numbers, the scores still count towards an individual league. We always try to car share as parking can be a problem, and it’s always nice to have a post-mortem in the car on the way back. The cost of each race is £3 per runner.
